Preface:

I am proud to introduce the reprint of this easy reading luxurious book telling some history and how the Private Driving Club revives the golden age of coahing.

After the club's coaching event in 2018 in Limont (B) unfortunately the biannual event in 2020 could not take place because of Covid.

The 2022 meet at Diepenheim (NL)though, became an extraordinary successful event as chapter six elaborates. Participants and their guests came from far, even members from overseas were numerous, some not even withstanding Brexit hazards.

By the time I write this preface Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II just, HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, before her as also Jack Pemberton all icons to those involved with horses and driving.

We will miss them dearly!

As life goes on, the club takes great pride in the fact that many members share the work with great enthusiasm, in this case especially Stephan Broeckx who selflessly conveys club news to the international press and is the author of this book.
